2. What to include in a notice
To help us act quickly, include:
- Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- The exact URL(s) on FreeFontsHub where the material appears (font family page preferred).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
3. Font-specific reports
For an individual font family, you can also use Report a Violation on the font details page. That form reaches our team with the font already identified.
4. Our response
Upon receiving a complete notice, we may remove or disable access to the material and notify the relevant uploader/user where applicable. We may request clarification if a notice is incomplete.
5. Counter-notification
If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice including your contact details, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake, consent to jurisdiction of the appropriate courts, and your signature.
6. Repeat infringement
We may terminate accounts or restrict access for users who repeatedly infringe copyrights when appropriate.
